Benefit this Friday

I hope those of you who didn't make it out to the last one can make this one. There will be four bands on-stage.

8:00 - reggae DJ (tba)
9:00 - Common Language
10:00 - Three Shoes Posse (with me on drums)
11:30 - Mystic Roots (from California, who usually backs Pato Banton)
1:15 - Crucial Prophets

There will be vendors set up also, including Anne's awesome Threads of Change t-shirts, which are very very comfortable. Healing Is Believing wristbands will also be available and they have been getting a great response from everybody.

Hope you can make it!

Blessings!

RJ

I wish I could be there, RJ. Hang in there and have a fine time.

The concert was a blast and we screened nearly two dozen people at our Oral Health booth. Found lots of healthy mouths and a few people with some things that should be checked out, but are probably not serious. Early detection is key, so screenings like these and regular doctor visits are essential.

I was very impressed with all the participants in the screenings and my classmates and I were grateful for the opportunity to practice our exams and increase oral health awareness. We answered a lot of questions Friday and hopefully inspired folks to be pro-active about their health.

As usual, it was a joy to hear RJ on drums keeping the energy high. He may not have had much voice on Friday, but he was still speaking volumes through music -as always!

Thanks, RJ, for the inspiration!
Diane

I know it's rough, RJ...words cannot describe...your silence speaks volumes.

You are strong enough to beat this thing. You don't have to run at full stride the whole time: pace yourself and stay in the race. One step at a time.

We love you!

I'm wearing the healing bracelet 24/7, sending my thoughts to you all the time. Diane is right - your silence speaks volumes. Know that this small band of Armistead's in the NW is pulling for you every day.

We love you,

Devon, Michael, and Steve
