"That Was Easy"

I just got home from surgery and it was very easy. I didn't feel like a zombie when I woke up like last week. So far I feel good. A little tightness in my belly. I can't even feel the port-a-cath yet, maybe due to the local anesthetic.

Mom and Anne went with me. My two little angels.

I am so glad you are doing well, my friend. I have to tell you that because of you Scott is having a "thing" on his face removed and biopsied in about 2 weeks. Had it not been for you and your ordeal, he might have allowed it to just sit there. But I pushed and pushed and yelled and he finally agreed! Thanks for everything. You are an inspiration and I am proud to call you my friend!

RJ, great to hear that you have been through the hospital recovery process! Thank the Most High!!! With your loving family and friends, the "at-home" recovery should go equally smooth. I know you -- you are probably "jumping up and down with your natural beatboxing" in your mind and in your heart at about now. With this way of thinking, recovery is next in line.

I will continue reading your blogger in order to keep up with your status.

June 26th is the day I will be in Austin. I am hoping and praying to see you to touch bases. This time, after all the years of planning, it will happen-Giving Thanks to the Most High.

Love, s.
